Con la conformaci\u00f3n del Estado Naci\u00f3n en 1880 aparece tambi\u00e9n la escuela como instituci\u00f3n moderna y con ella, los libros de texto que cumplieron un rol central en la construcci\u00f3n de esa naci\u00f3n.
