Vilte naci\u00f3 en Jujuy en 1938, fue educada en el normalismo y sigui\u00f3 esta corriente como docente. Aquella f\u00e9rrea tradici\u00f3n se combin\u00f3 con una fibra sensible y justiciera que dio lugar a su formaci\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo como profesional de la docencia sino -fundamentalmente- como militante, trabajadora, dirigente. El 28 de diciembre de 1976, Marina pidi\u00f3 un deseo: el traslado a la escuela \u201cJuanita Stevens\u201d, donde ejerci\u00f3 por primera vez la docencia, en Jujuy. Nunca lleg\u00f3 a sus aulas.
